Did Thanos cause Age of Ultron?
Now, yes, I know there were clearly other factors involved, but...
Who was responsible for Loki ending up on Earth with the Mind Stone scepter, which caused all kinds of havoc, including empowering the Maximoffs and providing the missing piece for what would become Ultron?
Who was behind the alien invasion that started Tony down the path of "wanting to build a suit of armour around the world", leading to the creation of Ultron?
I started thinking about this because someone on another site pointed out that a lot of Stark's mistakes since Avengers can be attributed to his growing fear of this larger, looming threat to the world, which would end up being Thanos.
I am not saying it is all him, obviously. But Thanos' actions and presence behind the scenes clearly did play a big impact on these events.
