But how is JJ Abrams going to salavage the trilogy that HE screwed up?

But yeah - if we "Solo" this film - then we get our real Star Wars back.
If enough people boycott this shit, then Disney will get tired of losing millions of dollars (the investors will quit long before Disney does - they like getting their money back) and Disney will sell the Star Wars franchise to another company that will make the movies fans actually want to see in the name of profit.
If you want to see Mara Jade, Jacen Solo, Kyle Katarn fighting Jerec, and a properly-adapted Knights Of The Old Republic - then boycott Episode 9.

It's kinda endearing to hear hardcore fans think that their nitpicks and EU desires are more deafening than the hundreds of millions of international casual moviegoers who will plop down money to go see this movie.
