Well if I had to hazard a guess with literally no research for why a greater proportion of black people voted for Trump instead of Biden this election (that's what prompted this, right?), it could be because, whether they like Trump or not, some of those who voted Trump hated Biden due to his role in getting the crime bill passed in IIRC 1996 which disproportionately put away black men. That's just my first guess with no research though.

This...is a pretty legit reason, actually. Black Political Science YouTuber stated that this was his reason. I'll see if I can find his vid. He's a liberal but was not happy about Biden-Harris.
Also, Harris is not a CJS Reform friend, based on her track record.

Yeah Biden has done more damage to black people throughout his political career than Trump has, no doubt.
edit: oh yeah and I hear Kamala Harris has also put a lot of black men away for years for dumb shit like drug possession during her career as an attorney. That might have been a factor as well.

I think that is a factor, I have another theory As well, namely that black people before Trump got elected were more worried about his potential of harming them, however once he was elected, people realized that he was just a relatively normal Republican, who dogwhistles a bit more awkwardly than usual. So people whose material interest aligned more with Republican policies, and some others that are part of the Republican bubble were confident im voting for him

Interested to see what happens with the border wall project once a Biden becomes president. I’m sure he’ll halt construction but does anyone think he may pursue knocking the wall down?
I doubt it, would just cost money and people are already going under, over and around it.
He's pledged to spend money of hi tech options and surveillance and better trained border personal. Which is what Trump should have focused on, a lot cheaper and more effective than a mega-wall.
