Pretty much. You've got stronger versions of them to look forward to as well. You'll also start to notice many bosses/elites start "cast dodging" your spells, being programmed to jump aside as your spell fires.
Well, minus Godrick. He is derptastic, fitting with his lore.
Even after getting Comet Azur, the "OMG one shot" thing doesn't work on like 90% of the bosses in the game. They'll just dodge or sprint at you and squash you mid-cast. You'll have to dodge everything, wait for the longest recovery move, then you might be able to land one.
Unless you're using summons, at which point you can wait for them take aggro.

Unfortunetly 90 percent of the spells are useless against bosses and Cost Way too many fp. Thats why I cant understand why they did this to the night and flame.
Frost stomp also got shafted.

Mimic nerf is a placebo from what I understand. All they really nerfed was its damage, but what makes it strong apparently is its ability to tank + apply status effects with its attacks ie bleed.

Respecced after Arcane weapons were fixed to go with Rivers of Blood with an Occult Uchi in my left hand, liking it quite a bit so far. The bleeds are awesome and the WA ****s.
Beat the game yesterday. Overall, it was very good but their was a noticeable drop in quality at Atlus Plateau and afterwards. The content becomes a lot more sparse and it becomes rather repetitive with most of the enemies (even bosses!) being repeats of what came before.
I also found myself disappointed with many of the main bosses. I suppose they were balanced around summons but it makes them seem really unfair and not as fun. Felt more like Bloodborne bosses with their hyperagression and speed but they hit as hard as DS bosses and the player doesn't have all the advantages that BB gave like the health regen mechanic and the faster speed. I also tried helping people with some bosses and coop make them significantly harder than solo because not only does the boss get a big health increase but the host can no longer summon and the helper gets very limited flasks.
Interestingly, Radahn caught a couple of nerfs in the patch too. He definitely seems like he was designed as a "Raid" boss more than any other we've probably had. I wonder if all the complaints factored in to that.

Radahn was fine IMO. He's just a gimmick boss. I was thinking more like Malenia and Maliketh. I don't think they need to be nerfed either. They're both easily manageable with summons. It's just, they weren't particularly fun to fight because they were balanced around summons.
Radahn being nerfed is big gay. First playthrough I used summons like you were supposed to but thought in my next one I'm gonna tryhard and beat him mano el mano. Now what's even the ****ing point?
It's your punishment for not doing it right the first time.

Jesus....I haven't touched this game and will never play it (not my thing).
But I feel I know everything about it considering the vast amounts of guides being thrown at me.
I know it's just websites creating these articles for clicks...but a bit annoying when you have the no interest in a game and every single ****ing article is about how to play it.
"Go here to find super duper elf massacring broad sword with blood virgin powers""
I wondered about that myself. It seemed Elden Ring content had flooded the gaming space, but I couldn't tell if it was just from me seeking it out or not. It's interesting to hear from someone outside the fandom.
What ending did you go for?
