I'm just wondering if Takamura, who could cut enough weight to make junior middle class, will suddenly find himself the underdog facing down heavies who could never make middle because of their bone and muscle compositions, height, reach, ect.

Never let anyone else define you. As to your questions, the heavies have no weight limit, but don't compare to the speed of the lower weight divisions. Takamura, on the other hand ,has been confirmed to be faster than featherweight Miyata during their spar so he should still have a comfortable advantage over the whole division.
