Turns out the answer was simple, it's just we never went over it in class, and the textbook does not even talk about how to solve it.

Edit - Rely on google searches for stuff like this. Sometimes, you can find the full questions and answers online if you google some or all of the question in "quotes."

But for this bus-fi stuff, you can find all the formulae (formulas?) online with tons of examples.

Understood.

I was scared of the professors and I wouldn't be brave enough to send them an e-mail like that. I'd just figure it out on my own and/or kept my head down. Some professors have huge egos and you never know when their egos will flair.

Some of my friends said I was a little b*tch for not calling out the professors for some of their bullshit, like you did. But I just wanted my degrees and to have access to some of the research (some unis give you access to private research gates with lots of studies, white papers, etc.).
