There was a pretty neat comic mini a year or two ago where Q holds a contest with every incarnation of Trek up to Voyager, and invites the Squire of Gothos and a few other gods to the betting table. Squire and Q get along splendidly. The other gods are like "Q is out of his mind."
Also, Q tries and trolls the DS9 wormhole aliens, and time and space are almost ripped apart from it.
Nice little story. Only complaint is they seemed to deliberately downplay Kirk to give everyone a chance to shine, and went a little too far imo.

I mean I'm not going to say that traditional media news networks are spotless journalistic entities.
But at the end of the day they are leagues better than Fox News. So what I'm saying is maybe this is a concocted attempt to make average to above average talent look like super stars, either way it doesn't bode well for the people that want to hold Fox News in high esteem.

The thing that confuses me the most, is how candid people are about the logistics of propaganda. For exampls, they'll admit a government only need rely on unscrupulous owners of media organizations, because the rank and file are mere wage slaves.
This may seem obvious, but I personally think Nazi Germany should have proven faith in our leaders is an absurd concept. By now, we should have worked out ways to not need to trust a captain of our ships to avoid that iceberg.
