Your Lord knows very well what is in your heart. Your soul suffices this day as a reckoner against you. I need no witnesses. You do not listen to your soul, but listen instead to your anger and your rage.
34-year-old Dalton Mattus will be back in court June 20th after being ordered held by a judge Wednesday, citing a concern for public safety. Mattus and a female driver were pulled over on Capitol Street in the early morning hours of May 17th.
Police reportedly found a locked bag while searching the vehicle, where a loaded handgun and two pipe bombs were found inside them. Three more pipe bombs, bomb-making materials, and ammunition were also found in Mattus's apartment.
Mattus is facing charges of unlawful possession of a weapon by a felon and possessing explosives or incendiary devices.
Rolling Stone and American Doom analyzed more than 200 of Mattus's social media posts going back to 2016. Starting around June 2020, Mattus's posts suggest he was sucked into the dregs of the far-right internet, where he voraciously consumed and posted about conspiracies and anti-government vitriol.
Among the hundreds of posts Mattus shared over the past several years were his willingness to "go to civil war," and his support for conspiracy theories ranging from chemtrails, to QAnon, to election lies, and sweeping anti-government conspiracies. In March 2023, Mattus changed his profile picture to an upside-down American flag with the phrase, "We are not OK."
Mattus's previous run-ins with the law, in addition to the felony theft, include misdemeanor convictions for theft, criminal trespass, domestic battery, and damage to property; he was also the subject of a restraining order, court records show.
It's a shame the father-and-son duo Jim and Ron Watkins who were behind Qanon got away with it. Was hoping some of the Qtards would have been at least smart enough to realize they've been had and they "sorted" it all out amongst themselves.
