It's a rather weird "fear of Russia" thing. China is the big bad and scary, now. So is Iran if you work in IT.
Russia has some bad guys, yes. But they are fading away.
People, old people, want the cold war to continue. That's stupid. But their party-line supporters are happy to bootlick and pretend we are still in a cold war.
Probably cause they have a huge arsenal of nuclear weapons, and are willing to throw their weight around in some offensive ways, like the wars in Georgia and the Ukraine and the cyber attacks around the world.
Democrats: Responsibility, never heard of it. what is it?

I don't know why some of you are going on about being right and winning. Rob and Impediment were in on this gag because I PMed them. Silent and Rao PMed me and figured I changed the post. I highly doubt anybody thought Quan made the post, but simply played along just for the lulz.
Which makes them only 1/5 as of aggressive as the US, is.
If you view the US like an outsider, Russia looks rather tame. Not so much compared to China, though, where China is waging economic and cyberwar with the world.
I think many in the US look at Russia as the scary USSR leftover from the cold war but forget that the US is the actual scary monster that not only survived the Cold War but is every bit the monster it used to be. We are still invading and killing people in countries we have no business in.
