lol at thread turn. I personally know who ta-nehesi coates is,as black man myself. He is best know for his book,Between the World and Me. Neverthelesss,I don't think Superman should be black, mainly because its too controversial. And America is stilll a racist af country.
I find it funny that people are saying how bad MOS was, that Snyder doesn’t understand the character, yet are okay that Coates and Abraham are giving the helm of the reboot.
With Coates being an even worse writer when you read his Captain America when he begins to compare Red Skull with Jordan Peterson.
I familiar with game Yennefer, where she’s did powerful chick that sacrifice her womb for beauty and power, yet can still be vulnerable when you see the way she interacts with Ciri and Geralt.
Show Yennefer was heh to me. She was atleast given a little respect compared to Triss.
Could be he just doesn’t give a **** and he wants to put out his sjw shits out there. Don’t get me wrong, comics are a great platform to fight inequalities, but it should always be done with class, because you have a plethora of different people reading your books. Case and point, Xavier and Magneto are King and X on paper done right.
Then there’s Abraham. Let’s be honest, when was the last time Abraham made a movie that was stimulating?
Rise of the Skywalker was trash. A force Awakens was a rippoff, his Star Trek are all nostalgic. The last good thing he started was Lost.
We can shit on Snyder all we want too when it comes to storytelling, but till this day, there has yet to be a better visual super hero film, especially the fight scene since MOS.
Faora and Superman’s fight in Smallville is still better than any and all superheroe fight scenes till this day.
His first Star Trek movie was enjoyable. Admittedly, I know a lot of Trekkies weren't happy with it, but I enjoyed it. And since I've never watched the OS it has nothing to do with nostalgia.
Abrams is not someone I trust to make a good movie. Like Snyder, he has a good visual eye, but he needs someone over his shoulder telling him what the story has to be. Otherwise, well, we've seen the kind of shit we get.
His Star Trek was hated by a lot of people, but honestly? It's harmless fun. The first one anyway. And it got Star Trek back in to cinemas, so **** it, it can't be that bad.
