Hmm, dumb things I did at 17 was mostly drugs and booze, although they weren’t a big habit of mine. Most people are sensible even at that age, shooting someone is not sensible.

Agreed. I did a lot of stupid things in my teens. Illegally possessing an assault rifle to shoot and murder people was not one of them. That's far above and beyond doing drugs, stealing booze and sneaking into a movie theater.
I wonder if Kyle Rittenhouse was a Black 17 year old, would he be so cavilier over the severity of the accused crimes.
