A Nevada computer scientist has gone to federal court to pursue the $5 million prize he is owed by MyPillow chief executive Mike Lindell following a ruling by private arbitrators last month.
The arbitrators found that Robert Zeidman deserved the money because he had successfully challenged data related to Lindell's false claims that the 2020 presidential election was stolen, and had thus won a contest Lindell had dubbed "Prove Mike Wrong."
In their April 19th decision, they gave Lindell's firm Lindell Management 30 days to pay. Since then, Lindell has not turned over any money. And on Thursday, he asked a state court in Minnesota to vacate the award on the grounds that the arbitration panel had "exceeded its powers."
Lindell Loses Lawyer in $5M "Prove Mike Wrong" Case
Minnesota pillow magnate Mike Lindell has lost his final lawyer in a civil lawsuit over a disastrous challenge in which he failed to prove electoral interference and is now on the hook for over $5 million. In 2021, the outspoken supporter ofTrump issued the "Prove Mike Wrong" challenge at a South Dakota election fraud symposium—showcasing data purportedly proving the People's Republic of China had interfered with the 2020 U.S. election.
When issuing the challenge, Lindell said his team of experts would provide "cyber data and packet captures from the 2020 November election," and said the upshot of the challenge was to "find proof that this cyber data is not valid data from the November Election." Contestants who could prove the data was not from the 2020 election would be awarded $5 million, the announcement promised.
Lindell's lawyer gave no reason in his notice to the court, but we can presume that he was not getting paid. Also not yet paid is the Trump supporter who did prove that Lindell was full of shit.
That's okay, I'm sure that an installment plan can be arranged

Of all the useful idiots that flocked to Trump, Mike Lindell could be the greatest. In 2021 he had an estimated net worth of over 400million, now he's worth anywhere from 20-40million due to his insane antics in defending Trump's lies. Though it could functionally be zero as he keeps selling assets and borrowing from banks to stay afloat.
