Malachor is indeed a dark side nexus, but there was no indication that Vader was actively tapping into it in order to boost his power.

*In canon, nexus points do not provide passive amps.

Yeah even on Mortis, Obi-Wan had to tell Anakin to tap into it's power. And I doubt there's a bigger nexus than Mortis.

Yep. Mortis is pretty much *the* prime example of nexuses not providing passive amps in canon.

Same with Vader on Mustafar in the comic series.
