Forgot to comment on it earlier, but was really good for the most part. Up there with Castlevania season 1 for a promising adaptation imo, though not sure if there will be a season 2 to this.
If there's any criticisms I have for this show though, it's how much corners were cut during the Iron Fist tournament with the fights outside of Jin's. That and... Nina Williams losing to Xiaoyu. Not sure where else a top trained assassin has lost to a high school student, but that did not seem lore accurate.
Out of the different fighting game series, Tekken is one that I've had the least exposure to admittedly. I don't dislike it; just never got into it as much outside of briefly playing one game or two, but with that having been said, I enjoyed this adaptation a lot more than I thought I would.
Yes, I know popular consensus is GVE sucks, I think it's a highly underrated gem.
