i reaally don't know anthing about this dbz movie, but i love all of the db series but dbz was definitly the best one. And if the movie ever does come out I know without a doubt that i will see it, and buy the dvd.
i aint a dbz hater, im actually as far from it as you can get but that was the offical DBZ website stating that the film's production had been canceled if even started. It is somewhat of a relief because i am against hollywood making live action animes, its just not right.
Didn't mean to sound like a cranky prick, I can get a bit defensive about the old DBZ some times & also, everybodies entitled to their own opinion, i do forget that sometimes. Just a little stressed at the fact that if the cast is what they say its going to be for the DBZ movie, i like alot of fans out there, wont be too impressed. Even as a huge DBZ fan, i really dont think their going to pull off much of a movie, more so at the fact that, just like my mates and I, there are alot of 20yr old plus fans out there who wont be happy with a PG-13 movie, this isn't Digimon or Pokamon we're talking about. DBZ, more so in its original Japanese, was a lot more violent.........

Dragonball Z is probably one of the best Comics for begginners to the manga franchise. It's not incredibly drawn or an incredibly in depth story but making a film (i take it its a live action movie) is just a big fat mistake. Dragonball Z is amazing, but making a film is just like some COMPLETE IDIOT making Garfield into a movie.

DBZ is the worst thing i have ever saw, i watched the first and second season(only becuase it was the only thing on in the morning) and i cried, all they do is tell the other how hey will beat them and after 10 episodes of that they might actually throw a punch other wise is a soap opra of crap. at least in DB GT they tried putting more fighting in it.

WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU ON! DBGT had basically no fighting for most of the series and we were subjected to jokey, stupid fights that weren't really serious while Z was non-stop serious action. Get your facts right next time.

dude DBGT has more actuall HITing of the enemy and it has one episode fights (which are nice). DBZ had no action just talking 1 punch talking 1 kick (same crap diff pile) like realy non stop action all they did in every season was wait for GOKU to heal up and finally show up and beat the gay monster. Like really every damn season u have to wait 20 eps till he got there then another 40 till he threw a punch. i still think DBGT is better but in the end THEY BOTH SUCK D#$%
Even thought GT may actually have more fighting, I still like to watch Z. It's not bad. They do take a while to actually fight, but they at least build it up. I like Napa and Vegeta....those two trip me out. Napa is such an idiot...
Okay Okay Okay people! Calm down! Yeah Dbz is good but not great. Dbz is like any other show, it has flaws. Yes sometimes in the show they are about to fight and it says stay tuned. Yeah so what. It makes people do what is said... STAY TUNED! Everyone has thier opinion we don't need to argue whats better. and for the record. Zelda was one the best games I ever played even on the N64. And budokai rocks as well. As for the movie. I'm not so sure it will do well. They do say Lucas Arts agrees to make the sound effects and graphics but other then that I can't see it being great. Jet Li as Vegeta? Come on we all know he's white not chinese. And even if they did get white people. How crappy would it be if they don't do Vegetas hair and even if they DID they would both be crap. I say if they want a movie. Is to recreate it from the original creator Have him rewrite a whole story for a movie and draw it all out with rich detail and pay him big bucks. And get all the voice actors to repraise their roles. ANyways chill people. oh and Angelina Jolie is HOT
