Adrianne Palicki Cast In 'G.I. Joe 2'

NBC may not have picked up "Wonder Woman" but Adrianne Palicki is gearing up for action regardless, as the "Friday Night Lights" thesp has joined the cast of Paramount's "G.I. Joe: Cobra Strikes."

Palicki will play Lady Jaye, the squad's covert ops specialist who can handle a crossbow and has a knack for impersonation. In the Marvel comic book and Sunbow animated series, the character also has a romance with warrant officer Flint, who Variety recently revealed will be played by D.J. Cotrona ("Detroit 1-8-7").
