MGM has picked up the script for
Hell Week in a low-six-figure deal, according to
Hollywood Reporter. Written by brothers Michael and Ted Peterson, 'Hell' is a horror project that takes place during a fraternity's initiation week on a college campus.
It follows six boys who hope to pledge a fraternity but are harassed, humiliated and terrorized by the frat brothers. One pledge finally snaps and, disguising himself as a ghost, begins brutally killing off his tormentors.
Warren Zide and Craig Perry are producing the film, the same people who recently produced New Line Cinema's
Final Destination 2. They are also currently producing Universal's
American Pie 3.
