Mandalay Entertainment have bought the film rights to the yet un-published book
The Hookup Handbook: A Single Girl's Guide to Living It Up, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
Written by New Yorkers Jessica Rozler and Andrea Lavinthal, the part satire and part field guide, postulates how in the modern world of singles looking for love, formal "dating" has been replaced by the more casual "hooking up."
Book is scheduled to be published this March.
