In Darkness," the latest from helmer Agnieszka Holland.
Based on Robert Marshall's nonfiction book "In the Sewers of Lvov," storyline follows a thief in 1943 Poland who hides a group of Jews from the Nazis in the sewers of the town of Lvov. Although the thief initially helps the refugees for purely mercenary motives, his conscience eventually gets the best of him.
