New Line Cinema has tapped Jim Kouf ("Rush Hour") to pen the script for the Jamie Foxx golf comedy "Ingle Woods," reports Variety.
New Line acquired the comedy pitch from Duane Martin and Lawrence Bender Prods. about a golfer raised in Inglewood who plays golf when he isn't working at McDonald's. Taught by his dad, and a phenomenal player despite the lack of correct equipment or pro training, Woods must face the challenge of turning pro when an agent woos him to take his hobby on the circuit.
