Oscar-winning writer Bruce Joel Rubin is to adapt 20th Century Fox'
Into the Light, says the Hollywood Reporter.
The feature is based on Robert Kurson's upcoming book, which chronicles the true story of Michael May, a blind athlete who, among other accomplishments, holds the downhill skiing record for a completely blind person, racing at 65 mph.
In 1999, May was offered a revolutionary stem-cell operation that potentially could restore his sight.
