Synopsis:
It's 1961 and the K-19, Russia's top ballistic nuclear submarine, has gotten trapped at the bottom of the North Atlantic. A malfunction in its reactor caused the sub to sink, and it is up to Commander Nikolai Zateyev to save not only himself and his crew, but to avoid a world war between the superpowers.
