Laurence Fishburne has bought the rights to Gammy L. Singer's novel
A Landlord's Tale, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
A Landlord's Tale centers on Amos Brown, a smooth-talking man with a rough past who goes straight when he inherits two Harlem brownstones. Amos runs into trouble via a West Indian drug lord and a skeleton found in the basement of one of the brownstones.
