Viola Davis has signed up to star opposite 50 Cent in Paramount and MTV Films action-adventure
Locked and Loaded, says Variety.
The feature, helmed by Jim Sheridan, is based on the tale of a drug dealer who turns away from crime to pursue his passion, rap music. Davis will play the grandmother who raised 50 Cent.
Shooting is expected to start in the Spring.
