Debra Messing Joins Barrymore In 'Lucky You'
[Friday, February 25th, 2005]Debra Messing (TV's 'Will & Grace') has joined the cast of Lucky You, with Curtis Hanson directing, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
Set in the world of high-stakes professional poker, the dramedy-love story is based on an original screenplay by Academy Award-winning screenwriter Eric Roth (Forrest Gump), with additional writing by Hanson.
Drew Barrymore and Eric Bana already have been cast. With Messing will play Barrymore's sister, a singer in a Cirque du Soleil-type show. The two meet a professional poker player (Bana) who is dealing with his estranged father.
