Anna Popplewell & William Moseley Talk 'Narnia'

Narnia ChildrenAnna Popplewell and William Moseley, who star in the upcoming C.S. Lewis adaptation , say that the adventure is about an epic battle, but much more.

The story follows four London children are sent to a professors country home in order for protection during World War II. There they find a magic wardrobe which leads to a mystical land called Narnia, which is being ruled by an evil witch. To defeat the Witch, they must join forces with Aslan, the lion God of Narnia, and the great battle between good and evil.

When asked what she thought of the movie, Popplewell, 16, said. "I've been asked this question recently, and I've managed to sum it up with: You've got to change yourself before you change the world. All of the kids go on these individual journeys and have to go through these personal reforms before they can actually save Narnia and before they are able to unite as a family and deal with all the stuff they have to deal with," she added.

Moseley added, "I think it's about change, again, but it's also about love," he said. "I know that's a weird, weird thing, and I don't want to make it sound cliché, because it's not a clichéd film. But it's down to respect for others and respect for yourself, and the choices you make affect you. For me, personally, I felt that it was a moral battle: all about morality and [how] the path you choose defines who you'll be."
