MTV Films has hired Holly Brix to write "
The Lost Girls," an adaptation of a teen thriller novel titled "Bad Girls." Michelle Manning is producing through her MM Prods. label.
The book, written by Alex McAulay, revolves around a group of privileged female teen troublemakers attending a reformatory school in the Bahamas. When they are sent on a nature hike, things turn dangerous and they must fight for their lives. The book was published in June 2005 by MTV/Pocket Books.
