Synopsis: Once a major football hero, but now famously degenerate, Danny Meehan is arrested for drunk driving and assaulting a police officer. He is sentenced to prison, where he coaches the prison football team (that's soccer, in American English), eventually playing against a team of prison guards. Danny relearns the joy of victory and regains his sense of himself as a man.
