Nicolas Cage is to reprise his role as treasure hunter Benjamin Franklin Gates
National Treasure 2: The Book of Secrets, says Production Weekly.
The feature, which will see the return of director Jon Turteltaub, takes Cage and company international as they embark on their latest quest — to discover the truth behind the assassination of Abraham Lincoln, by trying to uncover the mystery behind the 18 pages which are missing from Lincoln’s diary.
The project is slated to begin shooting this Spring.
