Halle Berry In Therapist 'Need'

Academy Award-winning actress Halle Berry is in negotiations to star in Sony-based Escape Artists' "Need" for director Luis Mandoki, says the Hollywood Reporter. The project is aimed to go into production in the fall.

In movie, Berry would star as a successful New York therapist who discovers that one of her patients -- a neurotic, suicidal woman named Beth -- is having an affair with her husband.

Marisa Tomei is said to be the frontrunner to star as Beth, sources have confirmed.
