In a preemptive bid, Paramount Pictures has paid mid-six figures for "Noah," a sci-fi action pitch from writers Jan Skrentny and Neal Tabachnick, reports Variety.
Precise storyline is being kept under wraps, but sci-fi actioner centers on a young scientist's battle for survival.
"Jan and Neal have created something totally original with the concept for 'Noah,' " producer Dean Devlin said. "The character of Noah becomes a sci-fi superhero, part comicbook, part everyman. The scope and energy of this potential franchise material"
