Adapted from writer-performer David Drake's award-winning 1993 Off-Broadway one-man show of the same name, "The Night Larry Kramer Kissed Me" chronicles key events in one gay man's sexual and political coming-of-age, from his first kiss at 16 to his mourning of dead lovers 20 years later. Nine interconnected scenes trace a path through urban gay male experience--from night club to gym, from gay bashing to activism--all the while exposing the sexual, spiritual and political yearnings at the heart of gay America.
