Director Steven Soderbergh and actor George Clooney are eying a March 2004 start date for
Ocean's Twelve, reports
Variety.
Warner Bros. are said to be looking to lock down Brad Pitt, while other
Ocean's Eleven regulars may return along with new additions.
It is thought the reason for starting up the sequel came when the studio asked
Timeline screenwriter George Nolfi to rewrite his "Honor Among Thieves" screenplay with an
Ocean's Eleven bent. The studio originally bought "Honor Among Thieves" two years ago as a potential directing vehicle for John Woo, but the project stalled.
Ocean's Twelve is expected to have a holiday 2004 release date.
