Tom Hanks & Jennifer Garner To Present Oscars 2004

Academy Award-winning actor Tom Hanks will present at the 76th Academy Awards on February 29th, with actress Jennifer Garner presenting at the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences' Scientific and Technical Awards on Saturday, February 14.

This will be the eleventh time that Hanks, who also is a governor of the Academy, has served as a presenter on the telecast.

Hanks won consecutive Oscars in 1993 and 1994 for his leading roles in "Philadelphia" and "Forrest Gump," respectively, and he has been nominated for the leading roles in "Big," "Saving Private Ryan" and "Cast Away," as well.

Hanks will be seen next in Touchstone Pictures' "Lady Killers." His other film credits include "Catch Me If You Can," "The Road To Perdition," "Apollo 13," and "A League of Their Own."

Academy Awards for outstanding film achievements of 2003 will be presented on February 29, 2004, at the Kodak Theatre at Hollywood & Highland and will be televised live by the ABC Television Network beginning at 5 p.m. (PST) with a half-hour arrivals segment.
