Terrence Howard is in final talks to topline Lionsgate Films
PDR, says the Hollywood Reporter.
The feature, penned by Michael Gozzard and Kevin M. Smith, chronicles the real-life story of Jim Ellis (Howard), who in the 1970s transformed a group of troubled inner-city kids into one of the best swim teams in the country.
The project is scheduled to start shooting in late April somewhere on the East Coast.
