Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest

Swedish actor Stellan Skarsgard has signed on to join the cast of the upcoming Pirates of the Caribbean 2 sequel, according to Sci-Fi Wire.

Skarsgard will play the long-lost pirate father of Orlando Bloom's character, Will Turner. Skarsgard joins the original cast which includes Johnny Depp, Orlando Bloom and Keira Knightley. The project is scheduled to beginning shooting next month.
