Spainish director Fernando Leon has begun principal photography on his follow-up to 'Mondays in the Sun,' entitled
Princesas, says Variety.
"The film's about discoveries, of oneself in another person, and of friendship as a refuge for two people who don't have easy lives," Leon said.
Toplining Spaniard Candela Pena and Puerto Rican Micaela Nevarez, "Princesses" turns on the lives of two prostitutes. But its real subject, says Leon, is friendship.
The project is written by Leon and wraps in November.
