Hutch Dano has joined the cast of "
Ramona and Beezus," Fox 2000 and Walden Media's feature adaptation of the classic Beverly Cleary series of books. It will be Dano's film debut.
Joey King, Selena Gomez, John Corbett, Bridget Moynahan and Ginnifer Goodwin already have been cast.
Dano will play Henry Huggins, a longtime classmate of Ramona's older sister Beezus, who has developed a crush on him. Huggins kicked off the Cleary fictional universe when he appeared as the title character in her first novel, "Henry Huggins," in 1950.
