Writing team David A. Lee and Daniel Vaillancourt (“MTV’s Undressed”) have optioned the English-language remake rights to the 2005 Spanish-language feature film “
Reinas” (“Queens”) from Warner Bros. Spain.
The original comedy revolves around a fictional mass same-sex wedding in Spain. The title refers to five mothers who set the stage for the event.
