Roses Are Red
Writer Ben Ramsey is to write the adaptation of the James Patterson bestseller Roses Are Red, according to Variety.

Roses Are Red features the homicide detective Alex Cross. Plot centers on Cross hunting the Mastermind, the brains behind a series of bank robberies in which employees or family members are held hostage.

Morgan Freeman portrayed the Cross character in 1997's Kiss The Girls and 2001's Along Came a Spider, which grossed $60 million and $74 million, respectively.
