Babe Director To Take On 'Rule Of The Bone'

Rule of the Bone
Director Chris Noonan has not directed a movie since his 1995 worldwide hit Babe, but is soon to come out of retirement with Rule of the Bone and Crash Dummies: Adventures in the Far-Gone, according to Variety.

He's already casting Rule of the Bone, a coming-of-age story he has adapted from a Russell Banks novel.

The plan is to shoot in Jamaica and either the U.S. or Canada.

Crash Dummies: Adventures in the Far-Gone, a fantasy about families and friendships, was created by U.S. producer/director Doug Lodato (Wild Wild West).

Noonan is writing the script, which several writers previously worked on, and will produce. He said it hasn't been determined yet whether he and Lodato will co-direct, Noonan will direct alone, or whether it will go to another director.
