Franchise Pictures is entering into a co-production deal for the $80 million epic-adventure film
The Runelords, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
The movie will be the first of three films based on the novels by David Farland. Published in 1997, 'Runelords' was the first novel in Farland's series. It was followed by 'Brotherhood of the Wolf', 'Wizardborn' and most recently 'The Lair of Bones'.
'Runelords' is scheduled to start shooting in June in Prague. A director is expected to be announced shortly.
