Screenwriter Scott Wiper ("Pearl Harbor") has come onboard to pen "Salvation" for producer Joel Silver and Warner Bros. Pictures with Walter Hill set to direct, reports Variety.
Picture chronicles the journey of a band of troubled teens who, after the murder of a counselor at a wilderness boot camp, break out and journey across Texas in search of cash and their own redemption.
Wiper, who is repped by Paradigm and attorney Karl Austen, recently wrote, directed and starred in HBO's thriller "A Better Way to Die."
