'SpiderMan 2' Directors Preview For Japan
[Monday, March 15th, 2004]Tokyo, Japan held a sneak preview for SpiderMan 2 today, with star Tobey Maguire in town to see 12 minutes of footage for the first time, says Variety.
The "Director's Preview," as it was called, was seen by several hundred journalists and film industry guests at a ballroom at a Tokyo hotel.
The trailer on a master brought over from Los Angeles started with a video message by helmer Sam Raimi welcoming the Japanese guests, partly in their own language, and explaining that some of the CG and sound wasn't complete.
SpiderMan 2 opens July 10 in Japan and the US.
