Documeister Michael Moore is negotiating with Studio Canal to direct and co-write an animated movie that will bear similarities in tone and sentiment to Moore's best-seller "Stupid White Men," reports Variety.
Studio Canal will finance the film. Paris-based Pierre Edelman, who exec produced David Lynch's "The Straight Story" and "Mulholland Drive," will produce via his first-look pact with the studio.
"Stupid White Men" ranted against the decline of American decency, attacking illiteracy, racism and corporate corruption.
It will be targeted for a pre-2004 presidential election release.
