Landscape 'Suck' Writers Scripts

Suck
Landscape Pictures has acquired the comedy script "Suck" from writers Ari Margolis and James Morley, reports Variety.

Story follows a young vampire in Seattle who must deal with his new affliction while fighting off ghouls, rescuing a damsel in distress and paying the rent.

Birnbaum said "Suck" "successfully reinvents the vampire genre by combining elements of horror and comedy in a truly unique manner: It's hip, hilariously funny and filled with attitude. I'm thrilled to add it to Landscape's growing slate of smart, commercial material."

Morley's writing credits include "Intrepid" and "Final Voyage."

In 2000, the scribe duo wrote and directed the independent black and white pic "Black Days." Film was a an official selection at the 2001 Slamdance Film Festival.
