Rock Talks Scorpion Reshoots
[Sunday, March 3rd, 2002]E-Online were able to speak with The Rock about the many reshoots that have been rumored to have taken place:
Reshoots? Schmeshoots! At the star-studded (Tobey Maguire, Puff Daddy, Vince Vaughn, etc.) opening night of the GQ Lounge at Hollywood's Sunset Room last week, I quizzed the Rock about the nature of all those reshoots we've been hearing about on his upcoming blockbuster The Scorpion King. Did the movie really require that much reworking? Rock shook his head and explained that the "additional photography" was planned in advance because his commitments to the WWF made it impossible for him to shoot more than three days at a time. "My schedule made it difficult on the production," he says. "I just watched maybe 30 percent of it, and I'm so happy about it. It's a fun movie, a fun ride for everybody--it's so entertaining." All right, so he sounds a bit like Ah-nuld. He says he'd like to do an action-comedy after he beats Hulk Hogan into submission at Wrestlemania--just before he shoots The Scorpion King sequel, I'm sure.
