Jimmy Fallon ("Saturday Night Live") has joined the cast of
Taxi, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
He will star alongside Queen Latifah for helmer Tim Story. This
Taxi is a remake of the original 1998 french-language movie of the same name.
Luc Besson, who produced the original, is producing the redo about a speedy cab driver (Latifah) who teams with an eager young cop (Fallon) to solve a series of bank robberies.
Shooting is to start in September.
