Synopsis:
In 19th-century New York, an impassioned scientist--Alexander Hartdegan--invents a machine that can shoot him back and forth in time. As he travels further into the future, he ends up some 800,000 years from the present and finds humanity divided into tribes. The two main groups are the Eloi and Morlocks, and they are less than friendly with one another (the Eloi are loving creatures; the Morlocks are quarrelsome). As Hartdegan explores this existence, dark secrets are revealed.
