Universal Pictures Takes On 'Thirteen'

Universal has preemptively bought Benjamin Magid's spec "Thirteen" and set it up with U-based Strike Entertainment at Brooklyn Weaver's Energy Entertainment.

The story is reminiscent of 1990's "Flatliners," which starred Julia Roberts and Kiefer Sutherland as med school students experimenting with the line between life and death.

Lucas swore he would not make any more himself, and dtbouful he will allow someone else to.There is a live-action SW TV series in the works, as are more animated versions/series.
